16:05 – Neil Collins wins in the race for Welfare. the Valid Poll was 2235. Quota was set at 1103. Neil Collins received 1198 votes. Jimmy English received 302 votes. Aisling Foley received 488 votes. Amy Lucas received 217 votes. Neil Collins was deemed elected by Returning Officer Sean Rooney. Collins claimed 53% of the vote, only 1% off our own Exit Poll. English claimed 14%, Lucas claimed 10% and Foley claimed 23% of the vote.
14:55 – Sean Rooney announces results of First Count Results of Humanities Recount. Total poll of 657, a valid poll of 622 due to 35 spoiled votes. Quota set at 311. Kiernan received 194, O’ Connell received 187 and Browne received 241. O’ Connell was eliminated and his votes re-distributed. Following the 2nd Count, Browne was then deemed elected with 328 votes, whilst Kiernan only managed 259.
13:40 - Humanities 1st Count announcement. Valid poll of 620, with Kenneth Browne receiving 242, Seamus Kiernan receiving 193 and Richy O’ Connell receiving 185. Quota was set at 310. Since no candidate was elected, O’ Connell has been eliminated and his votes will be re-distributed.
13:10 -Sci & Health 2nd Count. Aideen Holden’s vote re-distributed. Sarah Flano receives 101 votes to reach 396 and is deemed elected by Sean Rooney.
12:55 – Returning Officer Sean Rooney makes the announcement for the Science & Health First Count. Total poll of 884 votes, and a total valid poll 763 due to 121 spoiled votes. Sarah Flano receives 296 votes, Robbie Reid receives 239 and Aideen Holden receives 228 votes. Quota was set at 381, therefore no candidate was elected. Holden eliminated and her vote will be re-distributed.
12:40 – Returning Officer Sean Rooney makes the announcement for Business Convenor. Neil Mulhern deemed elected with 77% of the valid vote. The highest yet.

23:07 – Returning Officer Sean Rooney announces results of OSL Second Count Votes. Cassidy gains 59 votes to reach 647 and Ciaran O’ Connor gains 43 votes to reach 619. Sean Cassidy is elected to OSL.
22:38 – Returning Officer Sean Rooney announces results of OSL Votes, with Stephen Byrne being elected with 762 votes and Sean Cassidy receiving 588 and Ciaran O’ Connor receiving 576, meaning Stephen Byrne’s surplus will now be split. Quota has been set up at 642.
